Second Update On 80K Goal - More Article Marketing Tips

Hey Folks,

What’s going on?

I know it’s been a while since I gave an update on my challenge but I hope you understand that I have a lot of work on my hands. That’s not to say that I am neglecting you, as a matter of fact, I will try to update more often so you can get the info as fast as possible and start implementing what you learn to improve your income.

Ok so let’s get started…..

Fistly What Have I Been Up To So Far?

Honestly, I am way behind in all my tasks :(. The truth is, I made up my task sheet (I actually wrote it with pen and paper) with all the task that I am suppose to complete on a daily basis. Even though I hate to admit it, I don’t know of a day when I even get as much as 40% completed. Sad but true. Well all that is changing slowly so just stick with me ok.

In the last post, I gave you some article marketing tips. Now I am going to give you some more tips on what you should do after you have written your article to get maximum exposure and profits from your articles. This is what I have been up to and i am going to share with you what has worked for me.

How To get The Most out Of Your Articles

After you write your articles, there are a number of things you can do to get maximum exposure from it. A lot of times we as marketers just write our articles, submit them to ezine articles and wonder how we make so little sales. The reality is, the web is bigger than we think, with millions on people online at any given time. This means that it is our responsibility to get our articles/offers in front of our prospects. Here is what I do (suppose to do - I don’t do it all the time lol) with your articles:

Step #1 - If you have a blog/website, post it there first. It’s your content so you should be the first to publish it. Not some articles directories who will make a ton from adsense from it.

Step #2 - Ping the article on your website. I use http://www.pingler.com  and it has done well for me. Also, if you don’t want to go to pingler, you can copy all the pinging sites in pingler and paste them under your own list of pinging sites in your blog.

Step #3 - Bookmark your article on every bookmarking web 2.0 sites that you can. If you have a software like bookmarking Demon then this will be very easy for you.

Step #4 - Rewrite the same article 4 Times. Submit one copy to Ezinearticles.com, one to Buzzle.com, one to goarticles.com and one to articlesbase.com. Each of these articles directories (with the exception of buzzle.com) will allow you two links. Point one back to the original article on your website and one back to the root domain which should have your pre-sell.

Step #5 - Use an Article Submitter to spin/rotate the 4 articles and submit them to as much directories as possible. All with links pointing back to the original article on your website.

Step #7 - Bookmark The articles on Buzzle.com, goarticles.com, ezinearticles.com and articlesbase.com.

Step #8 - Rewrite the article slightly to create web 2.0 properties linking back to the original article as well as to the articles on the 4 articles directories above. The web 2.0 properties should be: hubpages.com, blogger.com, weebly.com wetpaint.com and squidoo.com.

Step #9 - here you need to get the web 2.0 properties indexed so that there links will count as soon as possible. So you are also going to bookmark each of these web 2.0 properties and ping them. Again you can use bookmarking Demon to do your mass bookmarks.

Step #10 - Go to Yahoo Answers and look for questions in your niche. Answer at least 5 and place a link back to each of your articles. That is on your website as well as on the top 4 articles directories listed.

Step #11 - If your articles (original plus rewrites) is already in word format then join http://www.docstoc.com and upload them. Make sure you fill your title with the keywords that you are targeting.

Step #12 - Covert your articles to powerpoint slides and then joing slideshare.com and upload them there.

Step #13 - Bookmark and ping all your slides and documents.

Step #14 - Record your slide presentations and convert them to video. Upload them to youtube.com and other video sharing sites.

mmmm I bet you never know that it was so much work?

Now For An Update on My $80 K challenge

Before i continue, I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone for all there encouragements and well wishes. I want you to know that it means a lot to me and it helps to keep me motivated even when I want to sleep all day lol. Thank you guys, you rock.

Earnings Up Until January 24th.

Paypal Earnings - $151.11

Independent Affiliate Earnings - $67.97

Total Earning so far 2010 = $3,323.68

So far, I am averaging $130+ per day. I haven’t done most of what I was supposed to do and thus I am behind. I am not worried though as my plan is still in place. Most of my articles are now steady climbing up the search engines so I should see an increase in earning soon. Once I get them high up (1-3) position then things will cathc up and hopefully surpass… But let me not get ahead of my self too soon

First Update On My 80K Goal - Article Marketing Tips

Wazzup, How You Doing?

I am doing great so far. Today I just want to give you a brief update and some ideas as well as tips with regards to what I am doing. Also at the end of the post I will give you and update with regards to my earnings so far.

Enough Chit Chat …….

In my last post, I told you about some of my plans to get to my goal by the end of the year. One of my main technique is Article Marketing. Now I have been testing a lot of stuff (and still testing) to know exactly what I want to achieve. So here is it:

In order to reach $80,000 by December 31st, I would have to be averaging a minimum of $223 per day. Now when I look at the products that I have been promoting or plan to promote, they average out to be about $25 per sale. So the number I will be working with is $25 per sale.

So $223/25 = 8.92 ==> 9 sales per day.

So how do I plan to achieve that with articles?

Looking at it now, it seems as if it will be so easy lol but we all now that theory never works out as is in practice. So things will differ and I will have to change some stuff in accordance.

So for now here is my plan:

For each of the niches I am in, I will try to get at least 5 Articles for a highly searched competitive keywords on the first page of Google while still targeting long tailed keywords with other articles. However, I will focus more on back linking the main articles until they hit the first page of Google.

Yes you read right!

After doing some testing, I realize that if you put in the work you can achieve anything. Think about it, all you need to do is a little more work than your competitor and you can achieve much. (Now just remember that this is not Gospel so don’t take my word for it - I will be testing and keeping you updated along the way so you will know what works for me).

Why Would I want To Target Competitive Keywords?

Because that is where the money is. Over the last few months, I have had some articles hitting the first page of Google for some competitive keywords and the results were amazing. So if you hit the right spot with the right keywords, I will be able to make my goal.(Too bad I allowed those articles to fade away :(  and have to start over again.)

Article Marketing Tips:

Having an article on the first page means nothing if you/I cannot convert that traffic into cash.

Understand what I am saying?

That means, you need to spend some time and get the article done properly. I have always heard a lot of people saying they can get and article done in 5- 10 minutes. Good for them! I say, if you have spend more time to get your article done properly then do it. To be honest, I am guilty of telling people to rush out an article but things and times have changed. Please spend the time to write high quality articles that not only grab your readers but also make them take action to do whatever you want.

1. Start Out With Good Titles - Ask yourself these questions: Why Should someone read your article? What makes your article stands out from the next person? Does your article title speaks to a burning desire of your prospects?

All in all, your article titles should aim to provide a solution to whatever problem your prospects have. That means, if someone searched for your keywords and your article comes up on the first page of the search engines let’s say in position #3, they should click yours first because of the pull you have on them.

2. Have A Good Description - Most of the article directories allows you to have a description for your articles. Your description should be captivating as well. I recommend it be a summary of your article - more like an abstract. You see most of the time your articles comes up the search engines often take the description from your articles to show up under the titles. (Not always though). So whenever this happens, it also increases your click through rate.

3. Speak To One Person In Your Article Body - Instead of trying to appealing to everyone, try to focus on one person who may be having the problem you are addressing. Also be creative in your writing, tell stories, refer to movies or whatever you can do to keep your audience on your article. This is very important because if you lose one person that is a potential sale. You aim  is to have your readers reading through until they reach your resource box where they can click over to your money pages to finalize the sale.

4. Have A Strong Call To Action In Your Resource Box - This is where you will invite your prospects over to your website/money pages. Be creative, don’t copy or follow someone else because their resource may not necessarily work for you. Just remember if you have your reader all the way down to your resource box then you have done good so far. You just need to continue flowing and help them make a smooth transition over to your site.

As I said earlier, article marketing will be one of my main techniques to get to my goal. As I go along, I will give you some tips as to what works for me and what doesn’t. I will try to be as detailed as possible so that you may get as much benefit as possible to help you achieve your income goal as well.

Can I Make $80,000 In 2010? Follow Along With Me!

Hey Folks,

Good day!

How are you all doing today?

I hope you all are doing great!.

Now since this is my first post in 2010, let me first say:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I wish you and your family a prosperous 2010. I also hope all your dreams and aspirations will be fulfilled.

Now let me get down to business….

First I want to say 2009 was a great year for me. Honestly, there were a lot of ups and downs.  I wont list them here as I try not to focus on the negatives. But trust me, there were a lot! Some of my close friends can attest to that!

2009 was my first full year of Internet Marketing and I have learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t. I still have a lot to learn but I will take it step by step. So after analyzing 2009, and have now device some strategies to work toward a new goal.

Goal: To Make $80,000 in 2010!!

This may seems like a lot to some folk or like a tiny amount to some. But for now that is my goal. The thing that you must realize is that everyone is different and everyone should set their own goals that they think they can achieve. Note, you must set your goal to give you a challenge, something that you know is possible/withing your reach but that you have to work hard to get to. Understand?

The next thing you need to do is to break down your goal into smaller bits and pieces.. So here is my goal broken down:

1. $80,000 In one year = $80,000 in 12 months:

2. Average per month should be: $80,000/12 = $6,666.67 = $6,667

3. $6,667 in one month = $6,667 in 30 days on average.

4. Average per day = $6,667/30 = $222.23 = $223 per day.

SO in order for me to Make $80,000 in 2010, I will have to consistently make $223 per day. I think that is pretty achievable and I know I can do it. The thing is, how am I going to go about it?

Very important: Make A Plan Of Attack

Have you ever heard the saying: “If you fail to plan then you plan to fail“?

That saying is so true! You see if you don’t have a road map then you will get lost and there is no question about that. So the same goes for any goal you want to achieve. You will also need to break down your task into small chunks so that they can be easily acheived. Otherwise, you will have a bulk of task facing you and you will get distracted, or even give up before you get close to reaching your goal.

So how do i plan to get to may goal of $80,000 in 2010 or $223 per day consistently?

1. Firstly: Sleep less and work more… Haha as I typed that I had to laugh But if you knew me, you would understand. I sleep so often, I think sleep is going out of style. So in order for me to reach my goal, I will have to be more productive..

2. Make a time table: yes you can work all you want but if you are not doing it in a orderly manner you will find that you miss some task or you may end up not getting some ‘important’ stuff done!

3. Offer more help to people: this one may seems a little stange, but the other day, I watch a video with Tony Robins and I learned of the saying: You can get whatever you want if you help as much other persons get what they want. I believed it!

4. Invest my profit - If you want to explode your income, you will need to reinvest some of your profits. (Not All Of it lol) Pay someone to do some of the tiresome work for you will you focus on other stuff! This is going to be a big part of my success for 2010.

5. Focus On What Works And Master It Before Moving One: Ahhh I now a lot of persons have a problem here. I get so many emails everyday from some of my subscribers– about how to stay focus, how to keep motivated etc etc. My answer is, find a technique that you know work, get it to work for yourself, tweak it to work to it’s fullest potential before moving on to a new technique.

Just remember there are no magic to success! Just ask everyone that are already successful and the will tell you. You need to work hard and SMART to get to where you want to reach. It may take a short period of time for some and a very long time for others but you will find it is worth the wait!

A More Detailed Plan Of Attack:

Ok, so I know you are wondering what am I really going to do to make $223 per day. Is It PPC, SEO or whatever? So let’s see what i am really going to do so you can join along:

1. Article Marketing - This is work tremendous for me in 2009 and so it will be on the top of my list for 2010. I am constantly tweaking my article marketing technique to get maximum benefits and I will update you in another post as to what I am currently doing so you can get involved as well.

2. SEO - Yep this is also paying off so I am going to put a lot of effort into this as well. You know nothing is sweeter than having a website on the first page getting a lot of organic traffic for some ’sweet money keywords’.

3. Forum marketing - I haven’t done much of this in the past but I think I am leaving a lot of cash on the table. So I will be giving this some effort and ofcourse I will keep you updated throughout my journey.

4. Video Marketing - I have done very little in this area in the past and it was a success. SO I am going to bump it up some more in 2010. (Focus on what works)

5. Answer Marketing - yes this work great if you know how to do it. You see, people have problems and they are looking for answers. So if someone ask a question and you answer it in the right way and recommend a great product, you will make sales. Not only that, there may be a ton of other persons with the same problem and will buy on your recommendation.

There are some other techniques I want to get into such Social Marketing, Press Release, Banner Ads, PPV and some others. However, I am going to focus on the above first and as time progresses I update you about what i am doing.

This post is getting rather long, so I will have to leave all these details for another post. I know this is something that most people need help with so I will try my best to shed some light on this area.

American Air Jet: Miracle Flight 331 Crashes In Jamaica Dec. 22

Good morning gentle folks,

It is about 6:05 am here in Jamaica now and I have to make to “Breaking News Blog Post”. Its been reported that at approximately 10 pm December 22, 2009 The American Air Jet - Miracle Flight 331 Overrun the Run Way and Crashed into nearby roads. This plane was on it’s way from Miami and was supposed to land in Kingston Jamaica at the Norman Manley International Airport. The Great news at this point is that NO ONE WAS KILLED!

With 3 days before Christmas (Officially), a lot of persons have a lot to give thanks for. With more than 125 passengers and flight officials on board American Air Jet: Miracle Flight 331 there was no fatality reported. The Jamaica emergency response team has done a great job of getting on the scene as quickly as possible. They provided air flight via helicopters and other means of transport to get those with injuries to the hospital as soon as possible.

Cause Of The Accident:

It is not sure what is the exact cause of the accident at this time. We don’t know if the pilot got into any difficulties or anything like that. What we do know is that it was very rainy and the runway would have been very wet. We can only speculate that because of the wet run way the plane was unable to stop where it was suppose to and thus over run the run way.

Crash Update: American Airlines Boeing 737 Plane Broke Into 3

I wasn’t at the accident seen but according to local news officials, the plane is reported to be broken into 3 parts. The Jamaica Observer newspaper reported 40 injured passengers but did not give details about their condition. CNN said four of the passengers were in serious condition. “The injured passengers have been taken to the Kingston Public Hospital,” Jamaican information minister Daryl Vaz told the Jamaica Observer. “There are no reports of fatalities.”

FTC, Testimonial Regulation Begins December 1st…

What’s going on today?

I hope you are doing great!

Today I need to talk about something that is SUPER IMPORTANT.

If you are an internet marketer then you must have been hearing the news about the FTC updating their guidelines. Thus a lot of things will change for everyone as internet marketers.

DISCLAIMER >> I am no “Legal Adviser” and so if you need legal advice go seek a lawyer”.  I will not be responsible for any changes you make to your website/business by following anything that I have outlined here!

I will try to explain and give “my opinion” on these new rules and how you can update your website to comply. Remember this is serious stuff and can cost you your business!!

I know you wouldn’t want that!

Who Or What Is The FTC?

Taken right from their website >>> (Federal Trade Commission) The FTC deals with issues that touch the economic life of every American. It is the only federal agency with both consumer protection and competition jurisdiction in broad sectors of the economy. The FTC pursues vigorous and effective law enforcement; advances consumers’ interests by sharing its expertise with federal and state legislatures and U.S. and international government agencies; develops policy and research tools through hearings, workshops, and conferences; and creates practical and plain-language educational programs for consumers and businesses in a global marketplace with constantly changing technologies.

Basically that means they are the big don and they can crack you down at anytime if you don’t comply with their policies and guidelines.

So What Is The New Rule That Will Come Into Play On Dec. 1st?

It all has to do with testimonials especially with info products…

You know when you are selling a product and maybe someone has tested the product and got great result? Well you can no longer have those testimonials on your website unless you give a typical result! Now this is where the problem comes in. How will you know what a typical result is? You can’t! The only way you could is if you sell your product to a handful of people and you ensure that they all do the same thing and monitor their results.

But…..

That is totally impossible.. So needless we try.

Here is another example: let’s say you are selling a weight loss product. Three persons bought it and follow all your instructions. And a 4th person bought and did absolutely nothing.  At the end of 30 days, one person lost 15 pounds, one lost 10 and another lost 5 and the final person lost nothing. Under the previous rules, you would be inclined to put the first 3 or even the first two persons testimonials on your webpage to get more buyers right? All you would need to do is to place somewhere on the site that the results weren’t typical.

However, that is no longer possible after December 1st. Your testimonials will have to be a typical result for everyone to expect when they buy the product.

Looking at the example above, what do you think a typical result would be? Zero…

That doesn’t sound too good does it?

Who would buy a weight loss product if they knew that the typical results to expect is losing zero pounds?

All Hope Is Not Lost!

The aim of the FTC is not to kill affiliates. Their aim is to protect people from being scammed by unscrupulous people. You know the type of marketers that give all of us a bad name. Whether or not you believe it, there are a lot of fakers out there that just scam people online and take their money and that is what the FTC is against.

So how can you survive as an Internet Marketer with the new rules?

1. You don’t need to worry yourself too much. Just relax and take a deep breath! It is not time to quit or get frustrated. Rather you should be thinking outside of the box of how you can get creative to make more money.

2. Based on what I have read, you will get a warning at first if someone file a complaint against you. So it is not like they will just crack down on you if you have made a mistake somehow. They will give you prior notice and time to make the necessary changes.

3. If you have your own products, Don’t Use Testimonials! - Preven is better that cure. If you don’t want to get into trouble, then cut out the testimonials all together.

4. Make sure you state that you will receive a commission if someone buys through your affiliate link. I am not 100% sure the correct format to do this. Conclusion

This is not time to be down and frustrated. Rather it is time to get thinking outside of the box and get creative to start making some real cash online. This just a little hinderance in the way and I guarantee that there will be more. But…. They should only make you stronger.

Are You Preparing For The Holidays?

I know you have been waiting and waiting and waiting for a new blog post from me!

But I am really sorry for the delay. It’s about 2 monthss since my last post right? Yes I think so!

I assure you, I did not forget about you. I was really busy trying to meet some goals as well as getting other things done. So please accept my apology for the delay.

So What Have I Been Up To?

Well September was a tedious month. Some days were boring as hell and some were really productive.

The articles challenge was hectic I must say. Some days I had no  zeal to write and some days I wrote as much as 20 articles to keep up. Now it’s been several weeks and I can’t tell when last I wrote an article since the challenge.

Results For The Article Writing Challenge

The articles were spread across several niches and across several Author names as well. I got into a few new niches and they are slowly coming on. I haven’t done anything to them in a while and sales are still coming in. (the power of articles ).

Most of the articles got some rankings while some has fallen of the face of the earth. I really need to get some backlinks to them and make them stick. Lot’s of work! But I have been working in some upcoming projects and can’t find the time as yet to backlink the articles. Now I wont go do all the articles. Instead what I will do and what you should do as well is to go inside my ezine account, look on the better performing articles and backlink thoses. By better performing I mean the ones that get most views and the better CTR’s.

Overall the Article Writing challenge was a great experience. It has pushed me and that was good!

So did I get 200 Articles?

Honestly No But I managed to get about 161 done. I had some set backs throughout the month that prevented me from getting all to the 200 Mark. Overall I am happy though because it it was not for the challenge I wouldn’t have pushed myself so far.

Now New Stuff - Are You Preparing For The Upcoming Holiday?

Yes the holidays are coming and a great opportunity to make some sweat cash! Remember in the Christmas holidays, people really spend a lot of money to buy gifts for family and friends. I do it so I know! It’s the time of the year when people go into their bank accounts and take out a some just to make their family members happy.

So How Do We Come In A Internet Marketers?

We need to get in front of these people and give them exactly what the are searching for. Take for example an couple with two children. Think a bit……..

What would they want at this time of the year?

Maybe, just maybe they would want free gift coupons!

Or Maybe the couple need ideas for gift for their partners!

I am just thinking out loud but you should get your creative juices flowing. What would you want this time of the year? Look around, take note of what people are buying in the stores and what is getting a lot of media attention for the holiday season. There are a lot of stuff out there folks and you just need to grab a little piece.

How To Get Approved To These CPA Networks

This is where a lot of person have problems. A lot of persons think it is super hard to get approved into cpa networks but it really isn’t so hard.

Here is the process:

1. Make sure that everything you fill out on the application form is the correct information and not made up. Make sure you also remember what you had written of the form because someone will call you to interview you and cross reference your info (more on that later)

2. Make sure you fill in a website - If you don’t have a website create a free blog and put up some info and list that on the form.

How To Write Articles - Article Writing Challenge (First Post)

What’s going on?

This month is going to be a work horse! lol

If this is the first time you are visiting my blog, I just want to welcome you. Also, if you have not yet downloaded my Newbies Fast Cash Guide then you need to do so. Literally hundreds of persons have downloaded it and report that it has been responsible for their first sale! NO JOKE!

Ok Now to The September Challenge

In August I decided that I would start a challenge. I chose 3 niches (but only focused on one ). I revealed everything for free right here on this blog. And I was really excited and amazed with the results. Truly I am blessed and happy to know that a lot of people benefited from the challenge. Note I was not getting paid to do it either! All I want to know is that I can help someone to succeed online. You see when you succeed, I succeed as well.

Now because that challenge went well, I have decided to take up a more intense challenge. That is…

200 Articles For The Month Of September!

Yes!

You read that correctly. It is a bold challenge but I know I can do it. Now bare in mind that all these articles must be written by me otherwise the challenge will be void. SO No OutSourcing For Me lol

So let’s break down that challenge into smaller bits. Always do this! It makes things seems a bit easier and will not block your mind. If you look at it as 200 articles then your first reaction will be - that’s crazy or something of the sort.

But…

We can dig into it and make things look more enticing if you will

200 Articles in 30 Days - Now let’s say we take away the weekends so we are left with 300 articles in let’s say 20 Days.

so 200/20 = 10 Articles per day!

I don’t know about you but looking at 10 articles per day seems easier to get done than looking at the bigger picture of 200 articles in 20 days. You may call me crazy if you wish lol.

Overcoming Writers Block

One of the biggest problems that most people have (Even Me) when it comes to writing articles is to actually get started. We procrastinate and always find some excuse to not start the darn articles. I know because I do it all the time. I will write the title of the articles and then bam am off to a next browser or forum of just idling. However when I am serious about business I know what to do to get my articles done. Here are a few tips:

Tip #1 - Tell youself you can do it! Sounds simple doesn’t it? But the reality is that it is simple. If you tell yourself that it is too hard to write articles that you will never get them done. You mind will always find some excuse to verify the though of you saying it is to hard. So start out by telling yourself you can do it.

Tip #2 - Get Rid OF All Distractions. If you are married, tell your wife/husband that you are going to be busy for a few hours and he/she should not disturb. This is serious business folks. Find a spot that you are comfortable in. (If you are using a desktop computer then may the area comfortable, it’s your job). Close all unrelated browsers, sign out of your email accounts, close all chat boxes, exit all forums and just keep focus on your task that you have to complete.

Tip #3 - Write your titles. If you have 10 articles to write, write the 10 titles first. This way when you start writing the body of the articles you can save some time and just get right to the point.

Tip #4 - When you are not in  the mood to write, start writing. You would be amazed to see what you could accomplish if you start start doing something. Even if you are feeling lazy, just start typing. I guarantee that with a little effort you will get the article done.

How To Write The Articles

I am no English major but I am going to try and give you a few tips that hopefully will help you to write more and better articles. Disclaimer: This is my way and may not be the best way but it works for me.

Starting with your titles

You article titles need to be captivating and grab your viewers. It is your first line of contact. If it is not captivating enough then you viewers wont click on to read the rest of the article. You and I both now what that means for us as marketers don’t we?

Here are some tips on How To Write Articles

1. Ask Question in your titles - It’s human nature for us to try and answer a question when we see one. This is especially true when it is in a category that we are interested in. Now considering that you have done proper market and keyword research, your prospect will already have an interest in the topic that you are writing about. Therefore if you article title ask a question they will want to click to find out if you have an answer!

2. Make Your Article Titles Long So That They Stand Out - Before your article is even ranked on the search engines, you will be getting traffic from the article directories. Now the problem is that there are a ton of other articles trying to get as much traffic as you are! So one way to make your article stand out is to have a longer title. This will help your viewers to see them and more prone to click on them.

3. Write A Great Introduction - If you article title was good, then you have done a great job. However it is not done yet! Now that you have your prospect on your article, it is your job to keep them reading the entire article. Remember our aim is to get the visitor to reach the resource box and click over to your website where the fun begins.

So what should you have in your introduction?

As the word suggest, you are suppose to introduce your prospect to whatever your title suggest. Let’s say you are righting about treatments for acne. You could give your prospects:

background info- what is the disease, why do they have it etc

Statistics- who is affected, males or females, is it a global crisis, etc

A Story - Create a narrative piece- Remeber not all stories are real (fiction/non-fiction) so just create a story from your point of view! - Eg I was a former sufferer of acne so I know first hand how painful and devastating this condition can be. etc etc

Your introduction/first paragraph should flow smoothly into the next. SO your second paragraph should be a follow up to the first. Depending on your title, you can give tips to address the problems mentioned in paragraph #1.

Also depending on how many tips you have, you can use a separate paragraph to elaborate on each. This will make things flow and your article will not sound like garbage.

Bare in mind that you are not to give away too much information. You are creating suspense in your readers mind and you should try to leave them wanting more and more. That way when they get to your resource box they will want to click through to your website to get more info. A lot of people make the mistake of writing a well informative article and so when the reader is done, their problem is solved so there is no need for them to click over to your website.

Your Conclusion/ Resource Box

I like to have the conclusion as the resource box/author bio. The reason is simple! You want the resource box to flow as if it is part of the article and thus increase your ctr. Remeber your aim is to get as much people as possible over to your website. The more traffic the more sales!

Bonus - Whatever keyword you are targeting in your title, you should have that keyword hyperlinked in your resource box. This also help to increase your clickthrough rate  as well.

30 Days Challenge Overview: What Are Your Thoughts?

Welcome to the final post in the ‘August 30 Days Challenge’.

It has been a cool little journey if you ask me :). Though I did not complete all the task that I was suppose to do I would still like to say that this challenge was a SUCCESS!

Don’t worry, I would still like to hear your views/ Comments at the end of this post.

Now before I go any further, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has been visiting, leaving comments, sending me email and all. All your comments whether they be good, bad or in between are welcome and appreciated. I would also like to say congrats to all the persons who have emailed me telling me thank you because I have helped them in some way. You guys rock and I encourage you to continue and don’t ever give up until you succeed.

Overview Of The 30 Days Challenge:

For those of you who are visiting for the very first time, let me explain what the 30 Days Challenge Was. At the begining of August, I decided that I would take on a challenge where I expose one of my niche, my landing pages and whether or not my I could make my affiliate campaign a success. The goal was not to make x amount of sales but rather to make as much as possible :). For the challenge to be successful, it was agreed that at least one sale should be recorded. Below are the statistics for the campaign.

Niche I Focused On: How To Stop Excessive Sweating

Traffic Statistics For The Month Of August:

From the pic above you can see that the website got over 1365 unique visitors in it’s first month. However, those are not all targeted visitors because some of those visitors were referred by my blog. Those were people checking out the landing page :).

So you see over 211 visitors came from my blog. Therefore the amount of targeted visitors would be 1365 - 211 = 1154 Unique Visitors.

What Else Did We Achieve?

The website is indexed in Google and Yahoo and ranking for some keywords already.

Keyword: How To Stop Excessive Sweating - position 183 out of 361,000 websites. Not bad for a new domain. Just need some more high pr backlinks.

Keyword: Stop Sweating - position 285 out of 3 million websites. Not bad for a new domain. Just need some more high pr backlinks.

Now For Yahoo:

Keyword: How To Stop Excessive Sweating - Position 31 out of over 1 million results.

Keyword: Stop Sweating - Position 49 Out of 45 million results.

I am no SEO expert of the sort but if you ask me I would say those above a so so bad results. No bear in mind that the website is already ranking for several other keywords. I only mention those above because they are the main ones that we are focusing on at the moment.

So we have traffic stats and search engine ranking stats……..

The question you may be asking now is; What About Sales? Well Here are the results below:

6 Sales Totaling $150

Clickbank Hops

644 Hops, 46 Order form Impression Count, 7 Order form Submit Count and only 6 sales. If you ask me that doesn’t sound right to me. I know a lot of persons will disagree but I just can’t understand why 46 persons would read a sales letter with the price clearly stated, hit the order button and then suddenly decided not to buy. Doesn’t sound good to me! What’s also strange is that 7 persons enter their credit card details and click submit but only 6 of those were recorded as sales!!!!!!!

Well I honestly don’t know what to say but let’s look on the bright side shall we?

Now…

It is not a gazzilion dollars but it still shows that if you play your cards right you will make money online. You see I have heard of people trying for years without making a single penny online.

So what did I do?

I took a campaign and make 6 sales withing 31 days. Again it is not much but is shows that with a little dedication you really can make money online. So to recap a little:

** Chose a niche - A hungry market desperate for a solution some problem they may have. In this case the problem that our market have is their excessive sweating problem. Therefore they will spend money to get rid of their problems. We just need to get our offer in front of them.

** Provide The Best Solution To Their Problems - In our case the solution was an ebook that teaches them how to get rid of their excessive sweating condition. It was one of the top products on clickbank. (not really important but just proves that it was already selling).

** Use A Pre-sell To Get Your Prospects To Buy Your Offer - This means you will try your best to get your prospect to be in a buying mood and visit your vendors page to buy the offer. Don’t try to sell to much that is not your job. Leave that to the sales page. That is one of the reason why choosing the right product is very important because you want a page that converts.

** Get Your Offer In Front Of Your Prospects - This means you must drive an army of targeted traffic to your pre-sell page. The more traffic, the more conversion/sales which equates to more money in your pockets.

So What’s Next???????

Although I didn’t get to do everything as planned, I really enjoyed this challenge and I hope you did.

I will continue to expose this clickbank account and take it all the way up to $1000+ per month. (I wont Stop Until I Get There Either ). I will also get the other landing pages up as well and carry on with the promotions and reveal everything to you for free! How Cool Is That?

I am going to challenge myself to write 200 Articles for the month of September. That is an average of 10 articles per day excluding weekends. So do you think you can manage such a challenge?

Set a number that you think you can handle. Maybe 50, 30 but not less that 20 (that’s cheating lol). You can write about any niche and it doesn’t have to be one niche either because that can get boring and repetitive. So Go ahead and condition your mind for the challenge to come.

I am really excited about this because I know a lot of persons have a problem with writing articles. But remember this, if you tell youself you can do it then you can. And whenever you don’t feel like writing, just start typing and it will come.

30 Days Challage: Sale #3 & 4 Wooooooooooo!

Hey Folks,

What’s going on?

Well is about 8:00am here in Jamaica I just took  look in My Clickbank account for the 30 Days Challenge.

And Yes……..

Still not converting as great as I would have wanted but I still need some more numbers to make any major decisions. The good thing though is that the landing page is converting very well. Based on my numbers from my analytics account, it seems to be converting more than 50% at the moment. As a result I am getting a lot of hops in my clickbank account.

472 hops and 4 sales. Well still not awfully bad Is it?

I just got to get some more numbers and tweak some stuff to get maximum profits from this niche!

30 Days Challenge Update: Sale #2 Wooooooooo!!!

What’s Up Everyone???????

It been a long while since I make a post in this 30 Days Challenge and I am really really sorry for that. To be very honest, I have done very little work for the past few days and it is mainly due to the fact that I have been caught up with the World Championships. It is no excuse but I couldn’t help but mentioning how well the Jamaican athletes have performed.

They have done exceptionally well and we as a country here in Jamaica are very proud of them

Now Let’s Get To The 30 Days Challenge Shall We?

As I mentioned earlier, I haven’t been doing the amount of work that I had planned for this challenge. But I still managed to get a few things done. Now below are some of the actions I have taken and some of the results that I have got.

As you can see all the properties that I have created has the keyword “how to stop excessive sweating” in them. This way I can get several listing on Google when all of them are fully optimized. Note they are also link to my main website for that keyword via anchor text. This will provide my main website with some high quality backlinks.

Some Results:

My main website is already indexed in Google and Yahoo. However it is at position 360 for the main keywords on Google.

But I am already on page 3 of Yahooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How About Some Traffic??

I must admit, not all of that traffic are targeted traffic. About 25% are people who click through from the links here on my blog. But still not bad if you ask me. What I really like as well is that fact that the bounce rate is below 50%. That means that most of my visitors are spending time to read through my presell.

The Only Problem:

I am not sure if it is a problem since it is too early and not a lot of numbers to work with. But from looking in my clickbank account, I have sent well over 300+ hops with only two sales. But there is no rush so let’s wait and see what happens!
